The President has little to NO power. He controls the military, and can veto congress. That’s about it.
No one is praising Obama for it, but you don’t see as many pro-gay-anti-bush marches as you did when Bush was president. Why is Obama not getting flamed the same way?
When you join the military you agree to listen to the commander in chief. I ask you, why has Obama not kept his campaign promise of bringing troops home? In fact he’s sent more over.
I agree with kerlyfries. Soldiers shouldnt be in a war that was based on an assumption. There are always going to be bad people in the world, but that doesnt mean good people have to die because of it.

You’re right, gay marriage isn’t legal yet. But is anyone praising Obama for any gay rights movement? No.
And yes, the soldiers joined the military by choice. Does that mean that, since we have soldiers, we can start any war we want? No. Of course we never want to see our soldiers die, but the complaint here isn’t that they’re dying. It’s that they’re dying for no good reason.

I think the soldiers want to protect the USA and it’s citizens. If they knew Bush was just playing games with them and their lifes they would turn around and kick Bush in the ass.
Bush did enough for the poor. Why hasn’t Pink sold everything she owns and given it to the poor? Good don’t expect that much from the President.
Gay Marriage still isn’t legal under Obama…Bush wasn’t the anti-gay anti-christ.
All of the soldiers in the military joined by CHOICE. So quit complaining that they have to go overseas. If they weren’t trying to steal tax $’s for benefits they wouldn’t be in that situation.
